I was recently introduced to this place by a friend who's been here for a while and earned a little. The name of the program is GOMEZ PEER. They pay you for staying online.
I havent really understood how exactly the system works, but what ive grasped so far is that they are using 'US' to create a sort of a super computer which is spread all over the world.
You download their utility and turn it on and get connected to the internet. This utility then recieves packets of WORK from the server, process it with your computer and then returns the work. This is when you get paid, for the work you processor does. You get paid $0.0005 per processing minute.
So overall you dont lose out, you just leave ur computer on with the utility running and it stays in the task bar completely out of sight so as not to disrupt the overall experience of the user.
Slots are limited. They cannot activate all the accounts, so its best to sign up and download the utility and then start running it immediately so that you have a better chance of getting activated. I got activated three days after i registered.
